The Turtle Song

The turtle strolled down to the pond one day
to take a little bath.
He jumped in the water and flipped around
and floated on his back.
Then rub-a-dub dub he washed his toes,
Rub-a-dub dub he washed his nose.
Rub-a-dub dub he washed his shell,
Rub-a-dub dub he washed his tail.
The turtle strolled down to the pond one day
to eat a little snack.
He jumped in the water and flipped around
and floated on his back.
Then snap, snap, snap he snapped at the minnow,
Snap, snap, snap, he snapped at the flea.
snap, snap, snap, he snapped at the toad,
snap, snap, snap, he snapped at me.
The turtle strolled down to the pond one day
to take a little nap.
He jumped in the water and flipped around
and rested on his back.
Beautiful song. You inspire me

I just love your blog (and so does my son)! The turtle and the train songs were a big hit with him.
ReplyDeleteThis is SO CUTE! My son smiled the entire time we listened to it.:)
ReplyDeleteSuch a cute song!
ReplyDeleteDid you ever play Turtle Tag? When the kids get tagged, they lay on the ground on their backs (shells) with their arms and legs in the air. After ten seconds, they're back in the game.
LOL! That is too cute. I have not played that!
