Preschool Song: Little Ladybug

Little Ladybug

Cut out a large red circle from felt (ladybug) and 10 black felt dots (ladybug dots). As you sing the song, place the ten dots on the red circle. Then hide the dots around the room and let your little ladybugs go and search for them!

Little Ladybug on the ground
Doesn't make a sound.
Looking for her ten black dots
She lost them on the ground.

One black dot
Two black dots
Three block dots
And four.

Five black dots
Six black dots
She's looking for some more.

Seven black dots
Eight black dots
Nine black dots
And ten.

The ladybug who lost her dots has found them all again!

  1. Thanks for the song! It will be great with my Bugs Unit!

  2. This could be fun to do with either felt or velcro dots put on a laminated ladybug

  3. This will be amazing for my 4 and 5 year old daughters. They're scared of ladybugs, and they're everywhere this spring. Hopefully this will help make ladybugs not seem so scary.

  4. Awesome! I love it!! I teach Spanish, but I could translate this idea!

  5. Love it! I'm going to teach this in my mommy and me class tomorrow.

  6. This hope against hope stay amazing in support of my 4 and 5 time old daughters. They're scared of ladybugs, and they're in all places this spring. With a bit of luck this hope against hope help churn out ladybugs not seem so creepy.
