Last week I received a wonderful award from Melissa who authors the blog Home Grown Families.
Part of accepting this award is to share at least 7 things about yourself so please click here to see what I came up with!
Thank you Melissa for sharing this award with me!

Melissa is also taking part in the HomeSchool Hop!
Melissa writes: "Our Worldwide Classroom is hosting an awesome Homeschool hop! All you have do is post about the theme, link up on Mclinky, post the Mclinky, and meet lots of other homeschool moms! You can view all the rules etc here.
Theme 1: All About Me
This is Me!
I have been married for 26 years and have one daughter who is now age 23 and married to a wonderful young man. My husband and I own a construction company and live in Indiana. Currently, I am in the process of writing a series of children's songs along with a series of children's books to go along with my songs.
I like to hook up home school moms because it allows me to stay in touch with the priorities, values, needs, concerns, gifts, and talents that so many loving and dedicated parents bring to their children at home. I get to learn more about what I do from you and because of that, I become a better teacher and leader in the field of early childhood education.

ReplyDeleteI'm not a homeschooler, but I added my link. (Hope it's not a faux pas!) I think many of the ideas are universal and can be used in the classroom setting or homeschool setting. I love to see kids learning in their "most natural environment". You guys are doing a fantastic job!
